Final has added a new wired model to its A-Series lineup with the launch of the A2000, a budget-friendly in-ear monitor aimed at listeners who still value a good old cable and a properly tuned dynamic driver. Priced at $79.99 / £79.99 / €74.99, the A2000 goes on sale globally from 19th February 2026, positioning itself as an affordable entry into Final’s more serious tuning philosophy.
Final says the A2000 was developed using a new sound-evaluation process first introduced during the creation of its flagship A10000. Instead of relying purely on lab measurements at fixed volume levels, the company focused on how music behaves in real listening conditions — different volumes, different recordings, and the kind of imperfect source material people actually use. The aim is a sound that stays controlled and natural rather than impressive only on paper. On the tuning side, Final is promising a blend of high clarity and punchy, lively bass, with precise note placement and a signature designed to work across a wide range of genres.

At the heart of the A2000 is Final’s in-house 6mm “f-Core DU” dynamic driver, built entirely by the company, right down to the production equipment. A brass front housing is used to reduce magnetic interference, while an ultra-fine 30μm CCAW voice coil is intended to improve speed and transient response. Each diaphragm is pressed in small batches to maintain consistency and reduce distortion — a manufacturing detail that’s rarely mentioned at this price point.
Ergonomically, the A2000 takes inspiration from Final’s B Series, using a three-point support system that rests against the ear pocket, eartip and tragus. The goal is a stable fit without excessive pressure, giving it a more “custom-like” feel than the typical bullet-style shell. The housing itself comes in a two-tone black and blue finish with Final’s textured shibo coating, designed to resist fingerprints and keep the surface looking clean. A 0.78mm 2-pin connector is paired with a soft black OFC cable to keep handling noise low, and five sizes of dual-hardness silicone eartips (SS to LL) are included for fit fine-tuning.

With its in-house driver, revised tuning process and focus on comfort, the A2000 looks like Final’s attempt to bring some of its higher-end thinking down into a genuinely accessible wired IEM. On paper, it’s shaping up as an interesting option for anyone who wants clarity and bass presence without drifting into the usual budget tuning clichés.
