Design
The MS2 Pro’s shells are made from zinc alloy with a slick mirror finish that catches the light nicely—though thankfully, not every greasy fingerprint. That’s thanks to the faceplates, which sport a faux leather overlay with a textured “rhino skin” pattern. It looks great and adds a bit of rugged charm to the aesthetic.
Fit-wise, the shells are spot-on for my ears—no pressure points, no discomfort, even after long listening sessions. They’ve got a bit of weight to them, which makes them feel solid and well put together. The included dual-strand twisted cable is a nice match too, featuring aluminium hardware throughout, except for the clear plastic 2-pin connectors.

Sound
Sources used for testing include the iBasso DX180, Shanling UA6 and D&A Alpha Pro. The Hidizs MS2 Pro is a low-impedance and sensitive IEM, so it doesn’t need much power—you can use it with pretty much any audio source.
When it comes to sound, the MS20 has an energetic and powerful sound. It’s characterised by its boosted bass response, which is boosted well north of neutral and its dynamic, colourful presentation. It’s not all about bass, though. Even though it has a rich tonality, it’s balanced with a tastefully enhanced treble that helps maintain articulation and definition.

Verdict
The Hidizs MS2 Pro is a strong follow-up to the original, offering a bold, engaging sound with boosted bass, rich mids and a nicely balanced treble that avoids harshness. Add to that a durable, good-looking design and all-day comfort, and you’ve got a solid all-rounder that’s easy to enjoy.
At the early bird price, the MS2 Pro is a steal—but even at full retail, it holds its own in a crowded segment. If you’re after a lively and full-bodied sound without sacrificing refinement, this one should be on your shortlist. Recommended.
