This is a beginning of a new series, therefore I thought it would be a good cause for some background. We thought that it would be nice for you guys to be able to keep up with most (or all) interesting releases each week. Of course weeks during which there will be no new releases will be skipped, which given current release schedules shouldn’t really happen!

Let’s get to it! This week’s releases or announcements are:

Truthear HOLA
A 11mm single dynamic driver IEM with impedance of 28 ohms and sensitivity of 120dB/Vrms. Priced at around 20 USD.

Truthear SHIO
Dongle DAC Amp that doesn’t break a bank at around 70 USD. Comes with dual CS43198, 3.5mm and 4.4mm balanced output. Output power? That spec is missing so far.

HZSOUND Heart Mirror Zero
Heart Mirror but with upgraded tuning and hardware. 33 USD.

FREEDOTS C1
TWS clocking at around 110 USD. Claims to have 5 hours of playback and 22 hours battery life of charging case with 15 minutes of charging allowing for 2 hours of listening. 28 ohms resistance, IPX4 water proof.

SMSL D12
AK4493S based Bluetooth AMP DAC combo with OLED screen, aluminium shell, mqa support, remote and single output being 6.3mm. Output power of 400mw at 16ohms or 300mw at 32 ohms. 170 USD

Final A5000
Single dynamic driver IEM with 6mm driver diameter. Sensitivity of 100dB/mW.

Sennheiser IE200 (upcoming)
150 USD with 18 ohm impedance. Same 7mm dynamic driver as rest of the series. 4g per side.

KZ ZAR
One dynamic driver and 7 balanced armatures per side with 2-pin connectors. U-shaped sound signature. 16.5 ohms impedance combined with 109 dB sensitivity.
