Design
My first thought as I took the Arylic LP10 out of the box was it’s much smaller than I expected—it literally fits in the palm of my hand. It’s diminutive and made of lightweight plastic, and while it doesn’t radiate a premium vibe, it feels well-constructed. That compact size makes it ideal for tucking away inconspicuously on a shelf, desk, or entertainment unit—perfect if you’re working with limited space or aiming for a clean, minimalist setup.
On the front of the unit is a 0.91″ monochrome OLED display which indicates the selected input, volume level and pairing status etc. In addition, the screen shows the artist and song names while streaming music.
There are 4 touch-sensitive backlit buttons on the top of the unit, handy for accessing some quick controls. However, to get access to the full functionality, the included remote is a better option.
On the rear panel, from left to right, you’ll find: an RJ45 LAN port, a USB port (for flash drives), a 3.5mm line-in, a 3.5mm line-out, an optical out, and a USB-C 5V power input.

The Go Control App
The Go Control app is simple yet functional, allowing you to control your music playback from any source easily. It gives you playback controls, or for some services like Spotify Connect, you can just use the Spotify app as normal, using Google Cast.
Sound
The LP10’s built-in DAC has a neutral, uncoloured sound signature, allowing your downstream components to define the final sound. However, you could also use the optical output connected to an external DAC, using the LP10 purely as a streaming transport. During testing, I did just this, by hooking the LP10 up to my SMSL RAW-MDA1.
However, if you are using the onboard DAC, you also get access to bass and treble tone controls, allowing you to tune the sound to your preference.

Verdict
The Arylic LP10 is a compact and discreet unit that packs in a surprising amount of functionality. For those wanting an affordable, straightforward way to bring modern streaming and wireless control to an existing stereo system, it’s an easy recommendation that delivers on its promise.
