WHERE TO BUY

KZZI K75 Lite

The KZZI brand was established in 2021, focusing on retro aesthetics and fashionable trends. The K75 Lite has a gasket-mounted structure. It has 5 layers of sound dampening to minimize hollow sounds and cavity noise.

You can connect the K75 Lite in 3 ways, namely via USB, Bluetooth or 2.4gHz wireless. It’s a fully hot-swappable design and supports most 3-pin/5-pin switches without soldering.

The K75 Lite boasts a 3750mAh battery which is good for up to 30 hours of use with the RGB backlighting on and a much more respectable 200 hours with the RGB backlighting off.

Design

The case is made from plastic but it has some heft and only minimal flex. At the top right of the board is a connectivity selection switch that sits just under the row of status LEDs that are situated on a protruding section. On the underside, we find 4 rubber feet and 2-level height-adjustable feet. This is also where we see the 2.4gHz wireless dongle that slots next to the aluminium information plate.

The USB-C port is located on the back edge of the keyboard and there’s a small Kzzi logo to the left of the status LEDs. The keycaps are double-shot PBT in the Cherry profile which seems to be the currently favoured format. On the Lite Black colourway (the one that I have), the keycaps are side-printed and transparent.

The K75 Lite has RGB implementation with the usual selection of different lighting patterns that can be selected via keyboard shortcuts or the Kzzi keyboard software.

Software

KZZI K75 Lite software

The software provided for the K75 Lite is similar to what we’ve seen from Epomaker and Yunzii – it’s basic. Still, it covers all the bases, including key remapping, RGB lighting modes and macros. The software can be downloaded here.

KZZI K75 Lite Typing Performance

My KZZI K75 Lite came equipped with KZZI linear Pom switches. They’re a linear or non-clicky type with a low-actuation force.

Despite its plastic casing, the K75 Lite delivers an impressive typing sound that strikes a balance between thocky and clacky. It’s neither overly loud nor too quiet, making it a great choice for office use where you won’t disturb your coworkers. Similarly, it’s suitable for typing or gaming at home, allowing you to work or play without bothering roommates who might be studying, sleeping, or engaged in other activities.

My typing accuracy with the K75 Lite was above average, with minimal misclicks or double taps. The gasket-mounted keys offer comfortable cushioning while still providing a solid and reassuring bottom-out feel. Furthermore, the factory-lubed switches felt buttery smooth, with no looseness or stickiness whatsoever.

It boasts great build quality, triple connectivity modes, long battery life, vibrant RGB lighting, and, most importantly, a fantastic typing experience.
