In this review, I’m taking a look at the Letshuoer S08 IEM. The S08 features a dual-coil 13mm planar magnetic driver and alloy shells. Letshuoer has been one of the leading brands for entry-level planar IEMs in recent times so expectations are fairly high for the S08. Let’s dive in.

Design
The S08’s alloy shells are well-constructed and feel durable in the hand. They have an elongated shape and are slightly on the larger side for a single-driver IEM. It has a small vent just in front of the standard 0.78mm 2-pin sockets.
I had some difficulty getting a secure fit until I switched to my extra-large Penon Liqueur eartips. After that, I found the S08 comfortable to wear for extended periods. Passive noise isolation is average.
The included OFC cable is twisted and has a smooth TPU sheath. It handles well and has minimal microphonics. Furthermore, it’s a modular cable and comes with both 3.5mm and 4.4mm terminations.
Verdict
The Letshuoer S08 is an excellent entry-level planar IEM with a warm, clear tonality, engaging punchy bass and smooth treble. It might not be suitable for people searching for a neutral sound signature but for anyone seeking a musical and fun sound, this one is hard to beat for the price.
