Soundpeats H3

Features
In true Soundpeats fashion, the H3 is packed with features. Let’s cover the main ones here (you might want to grab a drink because there are a lot). Internally, H3 has a triple-driver config, consisting of a large 12mm dynamic driver and 2 Bellsing balanced armature drivers.
Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity is handled by a Qualcomm® QCC3091, with support for Snapdragon Sound™, LDAC and aptX Lossless. The H3 supports multi-point/double device connection, so you can connect the earbuds to 2 different devices simultaneously—a feature that I’ve come to appreciate greatly over time.
The Soundpeats H3 has quad-mode ANC (Adaptive, Indoor, Outdoor, Traffic) delivering up to 55dB noise reduction and six built-in microphones for clear calls.
The earphones have full PeatsAudio app support with an impressive 12 EQ presets, a custom 10-band EQ and an automated adaptive EQ, which you can set up with a simple listening test.
They also feature an ultra-low latency gaming mode, ensuring excellent synchronisation between visuals and audio for gaming and video content. Plus, with an IPX5 water resistance rating, you can use them for workouts or in the rain without worry.

Design
The triple-driver setup isn’t the only new feature that the H3 brings to the table. This is the first Soundpeats TWS (as far as I’m aware) to feature pseudo-custom shells, like regular in-ear monitors. This brings some core improvements to the user experience, like improved fit stability and much improved passive noise isolation.
The earphones feature clear resin shells, which offer a glimpse of the internal components. The anodised aluminium nozzles add a subtle contrast and, due to their rigid and non-resonant nature, contribute to improved treble clarity. The champagne gold faceplates, adorned with a partial Soundpeats logo, give the earphones a classy and premium aesthetic. Subjectively, I think the H3 look absolutely mint—their unique design really sets them apart from the crowd.

Being so accustomed to using IEMs on a daily basis, I find the new housing shape both immediately familiar and very comfortable. People who have only experienced typical, generic true wireless earbud shells might feel a bit awkward at first, but I’m confident you’ll quickly come to appreciate this style.
One thing I was especially chuffed to see during the unboxing was the inclusion of five sets of silicone eartips. The largest of these actually fit my ears perfectly. In fact, it’s the first time I’ve been able to use the stock eartips with Soundpeats earphones, so kudos to Soundpeats!
Charging Case
The charging case retains Soundpeats’ usual flattened egg shape but is slightly larger than previous models. Despite this, it’s still small enough to fit easily into a pants pocket, so portability remains excellent. The lower half of the case is black with a gold trim that matches the earphones, while the lid is made of a dark translucent plastic. It feels well-constructed and has a satisfying snap when opening and closing.

Battery Life
In terms of battery life, the Soundpeats H3 provides up to seven hours of playtime on a single charge. While this isn’t class-leading, it’s on par with industry standards and a solid result, especially when you consider the power required to drive three separate drivers, including the large 12mm dynamic driver. For those times you’re in a hurry, quick charging is supported, giving you two hours of playtime from a quick 10-minute charge. With the included charging case, the total battery life extends to a respectable 37 hours.
ANC
The Soundpeats H3 features impressive Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) that works exceptionally well for an earphone at this price point. Its effectiveness is further enhanced by the improved passive noise isolation offered by the new housing design, which creates a better seal and physically blocks out more external sound before the ANC even kicks in.
Additionally, the transparent or pass-through mode is a highlight. I found its performance to be among the best I have ever heard in an entry-level true wireless earphone, allowing ambient sounds to come through clearly and naturally without sounding overly artificial or compressed.
Call Quality
The Soundpeats H3 has 3 microphones in each earpiece for call and video conferencing. They work really well and deliver a nice, clean yet full and natural tone and they do a pretty good job of reducing external noise too.
PeatsAudio App
The user experience is rounded out by the highly capable PeatsAudio companion app. It’s easily one of the best apps in the entry-level true wireless market and is a big part of why Soundpeats is becoming such a major player.
The app provides comprehensive control over the sound, with options for 12 different preset EQs, a detailed 10-band custom equaliser, or an adaptive EQ that creates a personalised sound profile based on a quick listening test.
Beyond audio customisation, the app also allows you to enable dual-device mode for seamless switching, activate the ultra-low latency gaming mode, update the earphone firmware, change ANC modes, and even remap the touch controls. This level of functionality and control is a huge value-add and truly puts you in the driver’s seat.
Sound
Testing was done using the “Soundpeats Classic” EQ. I did experiment with various EQ settings, and they work really well, but I went back to the default out-of-the-box sound for this evaluation. The Soundpeats Classic profile is warm and full-bodied with a boosted bass. That pretty much sums it up, but naturally, I’m going to dive deeper into the description.
The bass is powerful and upfront, both in the lowest region (sub-bass) and the mid-bass. The H3 punches and slams with a liquid warmth that spreads throughout the music. The quality of the bass is excellent—no distortion or uncontrolled bloom, just fun times and lots of impact. It’s not all about the bass though, because the sound as a whole is presented in an upfront, flavourful manner.
The midrange has abundant support and warmth courtesy of the bass but is still clear and uncluttered. This is enabled by the triple-driver configuration, allowing the balanced armature midrange driver to work alongside the dynamic bass driver, rather than being caught up in it. Consequently, there is no congestion and good spacing remains between vocals and instruments in the middle. Swift, tidy transients keep the midrange clean and organised. Vocals are vibrant and forward, not recessed, and have good clarity and nuance.
The treble quality and crispness are surprisingly refined. There’s enough energy to cut through the emphasised bass without any sharp edges or fatigue. It’s airy and helps to widen the soundstage, as well as providing clarity to the midrange. Sibilance is never an issue, and even the grungiest of rock songs don’t punish your ears with sizzling cymbals or consonants.
The soundstage is quite wide, considering the warmth of the tuning despite the stage position itself being quite forward (close to the listener). Instrument separation is good, although there is some shadowing on bass-heavy material.

Verdict
The Soundpeats H3, with its ambitious triple-driver hybrid configuration, represents a significant achievement for the brand. What ultimately sets the H3 apart is its unwavering commitment to audio fidelity; the instrument separation and dynamic range are exceptional, particularly when leveraging the LDAC or aptX Lossless codecs. Furthermore, the robust Active Noise Cancellation and the extensive EQ customisation available in the PeatsAudio app demonstrate a comprehensive feature set that rivals more premium offerings.
While the larger shell size may prove a challenge for some listeners—a necessary compromise for housing that triple driver array—the sheer features and raw acoustic performance packed into this package earn the H3 my highest recommendation. For the audiophile with a slightly larger budget, the H3 sets a benchmark for what is possible in modern TWS sound.
